Everton are closing on an agreement to sign Arnaut Danjuma from Villarreal.
The 26-year-old had agreed to join Everton in January, even undergoing a medical, only to change his mind when Frank Lampard was sacked as manager and instead signed for Tottenham.
Villarreal though are willing to let Danjuma leave on another loan and that falls in line with Everton’s finances.
According to talkSPORT, Danjuma will complete a move to Goodison Park after rejecting an offer from AC Milan.
It will be a straight loan with no buy option and is expected to be completed by the weekend.
The forward is also expected to have his medical on Thursday.
The loan move will reportedly cost Everton around £3.5million.
