Yoruba Nollywood Actress Lizzy Anjorin claims been set up after she was accused of stealing and using fake bank alert in Lagos market

Actress Lizzy Anjorin has reacted to reports claiming she was accused of stealing gold and using fake bank alert at Eko market in Lagos on Monday, February 5. 

The actress was mobbed by a group of persons at the market yesterday on allegations that she stole and used fake bank alert to buy some things.

Reacting to the allegation, Lizzy in a video she shared, said what happened was that she had gone to the market sometime in November 2023 to purchase some fashion accessories and that she asked her husband to help her send N91, 000, to the seller. She said that she visited the market yesterday and was accosted by the seller who then accused her of purchasing goods from him with a fake bank alert. Liz said that efforts to clear her name proved abortive as the man and the other traders were hellbent on tagging her as a thief.
